This site specific sculpture was created for India Point Park in Providence, RI.
The bunkers were created to reference the maritime industrial landscape surrounding the park, and the abandoned military structures which dot the coastlines of the Naragansett bay. These human scale bunkers served as an imaginary retreat for viewers. They seemed almost to crawl along the hillside until touching them and feeling the cold concrete camouflaged in a soft form.

The piece was installed in India point park, as part of the Convergence Art Festival, from 2002 - 2004.
